BountyScope

Delete your data

Last updated October 8, 2026

BountyScope, made by AppZoot Inc., uses an anonymous account: a random ID the app creates the first time you open it, with no name, email address or password. You can delete that account and the data linked to it at any time.

How to delete your data

  1. In the app. Open BountyScope, go to Settings, tap Delete my data and confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
  2. By email. If you no longer have the app, email support@bountyscope.app with the subject “Delete my data”. Include your user ID if you have it (shown in the app under Settings). We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your anonymous account on our server: its ID, whether you used iOS or Android, and the date it was created.
  • Your anonymous Firebase account.

Collections and settings you keep in the app are stored on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.

What we keep

  • Scan feedback images are never linked to an account, so we can’t find or delete yours. They are deleted after at most 36 months.
  • Scan counts are totals that contain nothing about you.
  • Server logs are deleted automatically after a limited time.
  • Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as tax and accounting laws require. Deleting your data doesn’t cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

See the privacy policy for more about what we collect.
